Community Signal

Overview

Together with Token Hub, Community Signal is part of a pair of complementary IDX Solana capabilities that support the full lifecycle of token communication and adoption.

  • Token Hub is the internal operational interface for teams (see the Token Hub documentation).
  • Community Signal is the public communication surface for token context and community-facing updates.
  • That split helps organizations keep internal workflows disciplined while presenting a consistent, audience-appropriate story externally.

Community Signal (Community Interface)

Purpose

Community Signal is the external-facing token page framework used to communicate token context clearly and consistently to the broader community.

Primary Functions

  • Provide a single canonical token communication page.
  • Present token context in a format suitable for broad audiences.
  • Enable consistent sharing across social, partner, and community channels.
  • Support ongoing communications from launch through post-launch phases.

Community Value

  • Improves clarity for token holders and prospective participants.
  • Reduces fragmentation caused by multiple inconsistent references.
  • Strengthens trust through stable, repeatable communication patterns.
  • Helps communities align around one official source of token context.

How Community Signal works

Members follow a single canonical page from discovery through sharing, while teams publish updates to the same public surface.

Typical community flow

  1. Community member receives official Community Signal link.
  2. Member reviews token context and relevant project references.
  3. Member uses the same canonical page for onward sharing.
  4. The project continues to publish updates through the same public surface.

Community Signal Event Date (Liquidity Booster Launch)

For launch campaigns, Community Signal event dates are updated from the Dashboard bot workflow.

To refresh the event date for a token

  1. Create or open a bot for that token in Dashboard.
  2. Click Community Signal on the bot card.
  3. The latest launch event date is recorded and displayed on that token's Community Signal page.

This keeps launch timing aligned between internal bot operations and public token communication.

Why this matters for launch operations

  • Keeps Community Signal launch timing current.
  • Ensures the public token page reflects the most recent launch activity.
  • Gives teams a repeatable operational step during Liquidity Booster rollout.

Operating Model: Team-to-Community Handoff

Functional Separation

  • Token Hub: internal readiness, verification, and operational control.
  • Community Signal: external clarity, continuity, and community alignment.

Strategic Benefit

This model provides clear ownership boundaries:

  • Internal teams retain control over data readiness and process integrity.
  • External communications remain consistent, accessible, and channel-agnostic.

Business Outcomes

For Internal Teams

  • Standardized token workflow execution.
  • Faster coordination across product, marketing, and operations.
  • Improved launch discipline and communication readiness.

For Communities

  • Clearer understanding of project token context.
  • Reduced ambiguity around official project references.
  • Better continuity between launch messaging and long-term updates.

For the Organization

  • Stronger communication governance across token initiatives.
  • Reusable framework for multi-token or repeated campaign operations.
  • Scalable model for aligning internal process with external trust.

Governance Positioning

Token Hub and Community Signal should be treated as coordinated components of a unified communication architecture:

  • Token Hub governs internal readiness and execution.
  • Community Signal governs external narrative consistency and distribution.

Adopting both as a standard operating model improves control, clarity, and continuity across the full token communication lifecycle.
