IDX Exchange — Overview

IDX Exchange is IDX's non-custodial, no-KYC perpetual futures platform. You keep control of your wallet while trading crypto perps with shared liquidity, cross-chain deposits, and up to 100× leverage on supported markets.

Try demo first

If you are new to perpetual futures, start with a demo account on Solana Devnet. Claim free test USDC, learn the order ticket and portfolio flow, then switch to mainnet when you are ready for live trading.

Demo account & test USDC guide — step-by-step with the same videos and screenshots from the exchange home demo walkthrough.

What you can do

  • Practice on a demo account with free test USDC before mainnet
  • Trade perpetual futures on major crypto pairs
  • Use market, limit, and conditional order types
  • Manage positions, margin, and PnL from Portfolio
  • Bridge or swap assets where supported in the app
  • Create API keys for programmatic trading and monitoring

Before you trade

  • A compatible wallet (EVM wallets supported in the app)
  • Network fees for registration, deposits, and withdrawals
  • Collateral in a supported asset (typically USDC on connected chains)
  • Your own risk limits — leverage amplifies gains and losses

1. Connect wallet

Open dex.idxsolana.io and select Connect Wallet in the header. Approve the connection in your wallet extension or mobile app. IDX Exchange never holds your private keys.

No Web3 wallet yet? Download IDX Business Wallet or use another compatible EVM wallet, then return to connect on IDX Exchange. See About IDX Business Wallet for setup details.

2. Enable trading

The first time you trade, the app registers your on-chain trading account. Follow the prompts to sign the registration message, then confirm Enable trading when prompted. This is a one-time setup per wallet.

3. Deposit collateral

Go to Portfolio → Assets (or use the deposit control in the trading header). Choose your source chain and asset, enter an amount, and confirm the deposit transaction in your wallet. Deposited balance becomes available margin for open positions.

4. Place your first trade

  1. Open Futures and select a market (e.g. BTC, ETH, SOL perp).
  2. Choose Market or Limit and set size and leverage.
  3. Review estimated margin and liquidation price.
  4. Confirm Long or Short.

Active positions and orders appear under Portfolio → Positions and Portfolio → Orders.
